KTZ and China Communications Construction Company discussed the implementation of the Bakhty-Ayagoz railway line construction project

A meeting was held in Beijing between the Chairman of the Mamagement Board of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC Talgat Aldybergenov and the President of China Communications Construction Company Mr. Zhang Bingnan.

During the talks, the parties discussed the progress of the Bakhty-Ayagoz railway line construction project.

The need to increase the pace of mobilization, attract additional resources, and accelerate the arrangement of worker locations for the effective implementation of the work was noted. The Chinese side committed to intensifying work on design and excavation work as soon as possible.

The implementation of this project is of strategic importance for the development of transport and logistics cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China, as well as for strengthening the transit potential of the region. Completion of construction is planned for the end of 2027. KTZ and the leadership of the Abay region provide comprehensive support for the project.
