In the first nine months of 2025, the Akmola Branch handled 7.2 million tons of cargo, a 56% increase compared to the same period last year. Total loading amounted to over 112,000 railcars. Of this, 5.8 million tons were exported, and 1.3 million tons were domestically transported.
The Branch remains the leader in Kazakhstan in grain transportation, handling 4.6 million tons, a 90.3% increase compared to 2024.
Of the total grain volume, 1.3 million tons were transported within Kazakhstan. 1.6 million tons were exported to Central Asian countries, 337,900 tons via the port of Aktau, over 1.1 million tons to non-CIS countries, 50,700 tons to Afghanistan, 47,500 tons to Turkey, and 165,800 tons to China.
These high figures are due to the coordinated work of all railway services and effective interaction with shippers.
KTZ continues to actively work to improve transportation efficiency and develop the export potential of the country's grain industry.
