KTZ Urges Parents to Talk to Their Children About Railroad Safety Rules

On November 2, at 6:32 PM, a freight train was stopped at Arshaly station on the Astana-Karaganda-Sortirovochnaya line following a call from parents reporting their children were on board.

Arshaly station police officers removed three children, aged 8, 10, and 11, from one of the carriages.

An investigation revealed that the children, while at Astana station, climbed into the carriage out of curiosity and fun and called their parents after the train departed.

NC  Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC reminds everyone that the railway is a high-risk area, where the presence of unauthorized persons is strictly prohibited. The company encourages parents to conduct preventative discussions with their children and explain to them the inadmissibility of playing or staying on railway infrastructure facilities.
