22-10-2025

Celebrations are being held across the country, during which activists, veterans, and members are being awarded commemorative medals and certificates of honor.

The Kazakhstan Industry Trade Union of Railway, Automobile, Air, and Water Transport Workers (KAZPROFTRANS) unites over 100,000 workers in the transport industry. Its structure includes 12 branches, 5 representative offices, 15 local trade unions, and over 300 primary organizations.

The trade union is celebrating its anniversary with tangible actions—consistently continuing its work to protect the labor and socioeconomic rights of workers. Throughout the year, organizational, cultural, and sporting events are being held in the regions aimed at strengthening trade union unity and supporting its members.

The trade union actively collaborates with the management of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy on the principles of social partnership, ensuring the implementation of collective bargaining agreements. This contributes to maintaining stability and strengthening social responsibility in the industry.

The organization is a founder of the International Confederation of Railway Trade Unions, is a member of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and since 2016 has been a member of the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF).

At the recent 11th Congress of the Trade Union, priorities for the further development and strengthening of the role of the trade union movement in the country's transport industry were identified.
