Interregional mobile rapid response teams will enhance train security

Interregional mobile rapid response teams of VZhDO LLP are being created in pilot mode on sections of the main network with an increased level of crime.

Each group includes 13 security guards selected from among the best trained employees, taking into account their physical and professional training.

Mobile groups are assigned additional service areas:

— Karaganda and Akmola branches,

— Semey, Pavlodar and Dostyk branches,

— Almaty, Taraz and Turkestan branches to Arys station.

The main area of activity is the protection of trains at permanent deployment points with the possibility of prompt departure to neighboring regions if necessary.

In addition, the personnel participate in preventive and preventive measures, as well as in providing end-to-end or relay support for container trains.

If positive results are achieved, the project is planned to be scaled up to other sections of the railway network. This will improve the level of safety in transport and ensure more reliable protection of cargo.
