Information on the accident at the railway crossing of the Almaty-1 - Saryozek section

On March 17 at 04:05 at the guarded railway crossing of the Almaty-1 - Saryozek section, the driver of a freight train was forced to apply emergency braking. The reason was the violation of traffic rules by the driver of the vehicle, who drove around the closed barrier and drove onto the crossing.

There are no victims or injured. No damage to the track or infrastructure of the crossing was recorded. Damage was found on the locomotive - the automatic coupling lever was bent. The train departed with a 20-minute delay. Information about the incident was transferred to the linear police department of the Kapshagay station.
