Implementation of ESG principles in KTZ subsidiaries

The subsidiary of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC (JSC KTZ Express) is actively implementing ESG principles. An approach based on responsibility in the field of ecology (E), social policy (S) and corporate governance (G) is being implemented.

The company strives for sustainable development, transparency and increased operational efficiency.

In 2024  significant work was carried out: pollutant emissions were reduced to a level 14 times lower than the permissible level, 965 employees were trained, and the volume of charitable assistance amounted to 1.44 million tenge.

The company is also currently implementing environmental and social initiatives, supporting equal opportunities and business ethics principles. These results confirm KTZ’s commitment to strategic sustainable development goals and demonstrate the consistent integration of ESG principles into operational and corporate activities.
