A girl was born on the Astana-Zhezkazgan train

On May 27, a girl was born on the passenger train #66 from Astana to Zhezkazgan. Passenger Alvina Pernabayeva, who was in her last month of pregnancy, felt the onset of labor during the trip and asked the conductors for help.

The head of the train  Kiikbay Makhanov and conductor Altynai Gafiullina responded promptly and acted in full compliance with their job description, organizing all the necessary conditions for the delivery en route. 

Two fellow travelers came to their aid - a paramedic from the city of Satpayev and an employee of a kindergarten. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the team and passengers, a healthy girl was born at 06:20 in the morning.

An ambulance team was called to the nearest Zhenis station, which met the mother and the newborn for further medical observation.

The girl's father, Alikhan Zhanalin, expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who did not stand aside and provided timely and qualified assistance. He also said that the girl was named Asylym.

It should be noted that train crew workers undergo ongoing training in first aid and actions in non-standard situations. Over the past three years, 15 babies have already been born on the trains of JSC Passenger Transportation.
