Fulfilling the Head of State's directive: KTZ continues scheduled track repairs

To date, 1,404 km of track has been repaired. Major repairs have been completed in all regions of the country, and the track and sleeper grid has been fully laid. In accordance with the approved schedule, repairs continue in the western and southern regions of Kazakhstan.
A total of 4,277 km of track have been repaired between 2023 and 2025. In 2026, repairs are planned for 1,577 km, which will ensure safe and uninterrupted train service on key routes.
Scheduled infrastructure upgrades are aimed at improving rail safety, reducing operating costs, and extending the service life of the mainline network.
In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, 11,000 km of railway lines are planned to be upgraded by 2029.
