Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia in the field of transport and logistics was discussed at KTZ

On July 22, 2025, Chairman of the Management Board of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC Talgat Aldybergenov met with Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Guram Guramishvili and General Director of JSC Georgian Railway Lasha Abashidze.

Kazakh railway workers spoke about the work being done to expand the railway and terminal infrastructure, as well as the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. By the end of 2024, the number of container trains from China that followed the TMTR increased by 33 times. 

Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the prospects for bilateral cooperation between the railway administrations of the two countries within the framework of the joint venture Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd., created to develop multimodal service on the TMTR.

The guests were also shown the operation of the Single Digital Window platform, which simplifies logistics processes and increases the transparency of cargo transportation.
