Construction of the Bakty-Ayagoz Railway Line Discussed

A meeting on the implementation of a large-scale infrastructure project—the construction of the Bakty-Ayagoz railway line—was held at the Akimat of Abay region, at the initiative of NC KTZ JSC. 

The project is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, voiced in his Address to the Nation, and is aimed at developing the country's transport and logistics potential, expanding export routes, and strengthening the region's transit potential.

The event was attended by representatives of government and law enforcement agencies, a delegation from the People's Republic of China led by China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., as well as heads of relevant enterprises and construction organizations in the region.
 

The meeting discussed key issues related to the organization and coordination of construction work, ensuring law and order and safety at the sites, technical procurement, supply of construction materials, and compliance with environmental and social standards.

Following the meeting, specific proposals were developed and agreements reached aimed at ensuring the high-quality and timely implementation of the project.

Construction work on the Bakty-Ayagoz railway line is proceeding according to plan and is under constant monitoring by NC KTZ  JSC and government agencies.
