Command and staff exercise to extinguish a simulated fire at Mangistau Station

A large-scale command and staff exercise on "Extinguishing a Simulated Fire and Conducting Emergency Rescue Operations" was held at the Mangistau railway station's bitumen plant. The Mangistau station fire train played an active role in the exercise.

The exercise included a comprehensive set of activities aimed at testing the combat readiness of personnel and equipment. A fire train equipped with a heat gun and foam generators was deployed. Main and working lines were prepared for the rapid delivery of water and foaming agents. Special equipment was used to contain the fire and prevent the spread of the fire to nearby infrastructure.

The total duration of the simulated fire extinguishing operation was 36 minutes. The exercise required the use of nine units of primary firefighting equipment, seven specialized vehicles, and involved 122 personnel from the fire train, units of the Department of Emergency Situations (DES), and the Semser National Fire Service.

24 cubic meters of water, 20 liters of fuel, and 270 kilograms of foam were used to extinguish the fire. The event demonstrated the personnel's high level of preparedness for cooperation and effective task execution in emergency response situations.

During the event, Kaiyrkhan Talasov, head of the KTZ service unit, and Azamat Kusepov, head of the Atyrau region service, were awarded letters of gratitude from the heads of the DES of the Mangystau and Atyrau regions.

The exercise confirmed the high level of personnel training and readiness to quickly respond to any emergency, ensuring the safety of industrial facilities and the region's population.
