Automatic blocking has been introduced on the Kyzylzhar-Zhezkazgan section

This year, seven projects to modernize and implement automatic block systems were launched simultaneously on 3,000 km of existing sections.

As part of the modernization of the Kyzylzhar - Saksaulskaya section, work on the first launch complex for the automatic block system implementation and the construction of four new control points with microprocessor-based centralized control systems were completed on December 25, 2025, on the Kyzylzhar - Zhezkazgan train section.

This has already increased the capacity of the Kyzylzhar - Zhezkazgan train section from 8 to 14 pairs of freight trains.

The digital automatic block system has enabled interval control of train traffic, increasing the frequency and number of trains on a single section (previously, only one train was technically possible on a section).
