The Jibek Joly tourist train is recognized as the "Best Tourist Product" at the KITF exhibition

The 23rd Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair (KITF) is taking place in Almaty. It is the largest professional platform in Central Asia in the field of tourism and related industries. Within the framework of the forum, the National Carrier JSC "Passenger Transportation" was awarded in the nomination "The best tourist product" for the successful implementation of the first international tourist train in the CIS - "Jibek joly".

The project was implemented within the framework of the instruction of the Head of State to develop tourism potential and is part of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the possibilities of railway tourism.

Since its launch, the international tourist train "Jibek joly" has attracted great interest among passengers. To date, four trips have been successfully made along the route "Almaty - Turkestan - Tashkent - Samarkand - Taraz - Almaty" and about 1000 tourists have already chosen this cultural and tourist route for their trip. The train consists of 5 domestically produced carriages, including 4 compartment carriages and 1 restaurant carriage. The high level of service and comfort makes the train a clear example of successful and strategically important cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the field of tourism.

The national carrier is launching the next Jibek Joly train on April 30 and plans to further expand the project, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the countries and developing new international tourist routes.

As part of the forum, awards were also presented to leading tour operators and partners of the National Carrier for their significant contribution to the development of tourism - in the nominations for the best loyalty program, innovative tourism product, cultural and educational tours and a high level of customer focus.
