The Zhana - Yesil locomotive depot fleet has been replenished

New shunting diesel locomotives of the TEM-11A series have arrived at the Zhana-Yesil operational locomotive depot. The locomotives were assembled at the Lokomotiv Kurastyru Zauyty plant in Astana.

The diesel locomotives are designed for shunting and economic work and will be operated by locomotive crews on the Zhana-Yesil - Saumalkol, Zhana-Yesil - Zernovaya sections.

The equipment meets all the comfort requirements for locomotive crews: complete autonomy, electronic control, an on-board computer, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and an electric stove for heating food.

By the end of 2024, the locomotive fleet of Kazakhstan will be replenished with 21 shunting diesel locomotives of the new TEM-11A series.
