Work on the construction of a container hub in the port of Aktau continues

KTZ Express JSC, together with representatives of the Chinese port of Lianyungang (Lianyungang Port Group Ltd, KPMC Ltd) and National Company Aktau Sea Trade Port JSC, are actively working on the implementation of the project “Construction of the Aktau Container Hub”.

Thus, during a working meeting held on February 1-2, 2024 in the city of Aktau, the parties discussed key issues related to the creation of a container hub, which will become a center for providing container service and fleet for countries

Caspian region and Central Asia. At the meeting, the feasibility study and the main stages of the project were discussed in detail.

At the end of the meeting, agreements were reached on further cooperation and the necessary documents were signed. It was noted that, due to its geographical location, the container hub in Aktau is intended to become a key center for receiving cargo and ensuring its distribution in various transport directions, including the North-South and TITM corridors.
