A woman gave birth on a train on the way to Aktobe

Contractions began yesterday in one of the passengers on the Almaty-Aktobe train. After some time, thanks to the efforts of the conductor, a girl was born.

A young mother, Ainagul Tleubergenova, was traveling from Togys station in Aktobe. The train crew immediately took the necessary measures, informed the train driver according to the instructions and called an emergency medical team to the nearest Zhem station.

Before the ambulance arrived, train conductor Galia Kabdrakhmanova provided the necessary assistance to the woman in labor in the carriage and at 14:27 the young mother safely gave birth to a girl.

Upon arrival at Zhem station, the newborn girl and her mother were received by ambulance workers.

- I was afraid for the child, of course, first of all. There was great fear for him. I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the employees of this train for helping me in such an emergency situation and not leaving me alone. Now I have something to tell my daughter when she grows up,” the new mother shared.

She later said that the newborn baby was named Malika.

By the way, thanks to the efficiency and help of conductors in an unusual situation, over the past 3 years, 11 babies have been born on Kazakh trains.
