Uninterrupted delivery of grain and flour discussed in Shymkent branch of the Freight Transportation

A meeting of KTZ representatives with major shippers and consignees was held in the Shymkent freight transportation branch, where they discussed issues of unloading grain and milled products.

Over 8 months, 680 thousand tons of grain were unloaded through the branch network. There are 25 mills for grain processing in the Shymkent branch. Over 8 months and 18 days of September 2024, 2,634 wagons or about 180 thousand tons of flour were processed and loaded. Over 18 days of September, there was an increase in flour loading compared to last year by 63% or about 5.7 thousand tons.

KTZ, together with shippers and consignees, are doing a lot of work to ensure uninterrupted delivery of agricultural products.

Grain routes are being formed to speed up cargo delivery times and reduce wagon turnover.
