Transshipment of containers through the port of Aktau via TITR increased 2 times in January of this year

The total volume of cargo transshipment in January 2024 through the Aktau seaport amounted to over 360 thousand tons, which is 12.7% higher than the same period in 2023. The port provided transshipment of 3 thousand tons of grain, 310 thousand tons of oil and petroleum products.

The seaport processed over 2.3 thousand twenty-foot equivalent containers (TEU), which is 30% more than in January last year. Including over 2 thousand TEU - along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

This figure has doubled compared to last year.
