Train conductors are preparing for summer operations

More than 160 conductors were trained in sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the maintenance and operation of passenger cars. Seminars were held in the cities of Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Mangistau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Taraz and Uralsk.

The event was organized as part of cooperation between Passenger Transportation JSC and the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control in Transport of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The seminars addressed issues of ensuring the safety, life and health of passengers. Recommendations were also given on compliance with sanitary rules and actions in case of detection of particularly dangerous infections.

Before each trip, train conductors undergo mandatory medical examinations and strictly comply with the requirements for the maintenance of passenger cars and cleaning standards in various areas of the car along the route. The trains have the necessary supply of medicines and first aid medical supplies.

Passenger trains are treated with disinfectants before departure.

The staff is informed and trained on how to behave in unusual situations and provide first aid. These trainings help improve the professionalism of guides.

Since the beginning of the year, 35 seminars have been held for employees of Passenger Transportation JSC to raise awareness of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for vehicles for transporting passengers.
