The tourist train "Jibek joly" will depart on the route "Almaty-Turkestan-Tashkent-Almaty"

On November 16 at 13:55 from the Almaty station, as part of the pilot project of JSC "Passenger Transportation", the tourist train "Jibek joly" will depart and will follow the route "Almaty-Turkestan-Tashkent-Almaty".

The duration of the tour will be 5 days - from November 16 to 20, 2024. 115 tourists will go on the first trip. This trip will give passengers a unique opportunity to touch the cultural and historical heritage of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

In Turkestan, passengers will spend one day visiting key attractions such as the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Arystan Baba, the Otyrar Museum and other historical sites.

Tourists will spend two days in Tashkent: the first day is an excursion, with a visit to the historical complex of Hazrati-Imam, including the Barak Khan Madrasah, the mausoleum of Saint Abu Bakr Kaffali Shashi and Tole-Bi. Tourists will also visit the Magic City theme park and other modern attractions of the capital of Uzbekistan. The second day in Tashkent will be reserved for independent exploration of the city.

All excursions will be conducted by professional guides, and modern buses will be used for comfortable movement of passengers on this route.

The Jibek joly train will consist of 5 cars: 4 compartment cars and 1 restaurant car, where passengers will be provided with three meals a day.

During the trip, various leisure activities will be organized on the train: board games such as chess, UNO, as well as a lottery with prizes for tourists. 

For the convenience of passengers, the train will have a multimedia system Vputi.kz, where you can watch films and documentaries, listen to music and read books. Passengers will also be provided with brochures with the program and city maps for the convenience of exploring the sights. Each passenger will be given a tourist book "Turkistan zhangyru" as a keepsake.

It is worth noting that tickets for the tour package were sold through travel agencies.
