The results of the work of the paramilitary protection of railway transport for 2023 have been summed up

VZhDO LLP heard reports from the heads of regional branches on the results of work in 2023. At the meeting, the main issues arising in the process of organizing security activities, as well as work plans for 2024, were discussed.

At the end of 2023, VZhDO LLP guards provided security for 19.8 million wagons with standard cargo (602.5 thousand trains). This figure increased by 3.7% compared to 2022. During the reporting period, officers from rifle units prevented 149 cases of criminal attacks on protected cargo and property at railway transport facilities. This indicator has improved by 27.3% compared to 2022.

Together with the police, 219 criminals were detained in transport.
