Recovery trains are sent to the Shokai-Aktasty section

January 12 this year at 9 o'clock 43 min. on the Shokai-Aktasty section, a freight train derailed. There were no casualties. Recovery trains from Karaganda and Astana stations were promptly dispatched to the crash site.

The preliminary cause of the derailment was a fracture of the axle journal of the wheelset of a private carriage.

Inspections in connection with the derailment of wagons will be carried out by a special commission of KTZ.
