At the same time, 218.8 km were covered by major repairs, 46.3 km of routes were reinforced, and 1.5 km were covered by medium repairs. Also, a complete replacement of rail supports was carried out at 54.5 km, rail gauge - 27.8 km, and deep cleaning of crushed stone was carried out at 165.3 km.
Track repairs are carried out on all sections of the main network.
Carrying out planned work on the modernization and ongoing maintenance of infrastructure requires the introduction of temporary speed restrictions in sections, which affects compliance with the schedule of passenger and freight trains.
The repair campaign started in March of this year and covers all regions. At the same time, more than 570 km of railway will be completely renovated with complete replacement of the rail and sleeper grid.
