Portable video tokens and video recorders will be used to improve train safety

KTZ-Freight Transportation LLC plans to purchase more than 2,500 portable video tokens for train compilers and wagon speed controllers. The use of the devices will increase the discipline and responsibility of personnel in the process of performing official duties, and will also reduce the risks associated with safety violations. Video tokens will allow for prompt investigation of incidents on the railway and their prevention in the future.

It is also planned to install video recorders on TE33A/AC series locomotives. In 2025, it is planned to install 47 video recorders. These devices will monitor the situation on the tracks and help in investigating incidents. Video recorders also help reduce cases of diesel fuel theft.

KTZ-Freight Transportation LLC is also considering a project to implement a remote video monitoring system. It will provide train drivers with visual control over the condition of the track and the presence of clearance when wagons are moving forward. The image will be transmitted to an industrial tablet in the driver's cabin from a mobile video monitoring unit installed on the tail car.

The project is under consideration, and its implementation will significantly improve the safety and efficiency of the transportation process.
