The volume of transportation within the country increased by 27%, export - by 69% compared to last year.
In the last week of November, shippers traditionally increase the shipment of new crop grain. A significant increase in loading volumes is expected by the end of November. It is predicted that 1.3 million tons of grain will be shipped by the end of the month, which is 41% more than last year. Of this volume, more than 900 thousand tons will be sent for export, which is 35% more than in 2023. Particularly significant growth is noted in deliveries to the countries of Central Asia - 516 thousand tons (+27%), to Afghanistan - 66 thousand tons (+62%), as well as to Iran via the port of Aktau - 81 thousand tons, which is ten times higher than last year. In addition, shipments to Russia will increase sixfold, amounting to 135 thousand tons, including 45 thousand tons via russian ports and the Baltic ports, as well as to the Azerbaijan market - 68 thousand tons, where there were no shipments in November 2023.
On the domestic market of Kazakhstan, the volume of grain transportation will be about 350 thousand tons, which is 38% more than last year. This is due to the need to move grain within the country to free up elevators in accordance with the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, the grain carrier fleet consists of 12,616 units, and all requests from senders are processed in full. KTZ exercises special control over the transportation of grain cargo of the new harvest.
