Passenger Transportation JSC launches additional commuter trains on several routes

On January 2, the national carrier appoints 4 additional commuter trains to transport citizens in the directions of Kokshetau, Kurort-Borovoye, Atbasar, Pavlodar, in connection with the possible introduction of restrictions on the movement of vehicles due to bad weather.

On January 2 of this year, the following commuter trains are additionally scheduled:
- electric train No. 6803/6804 “Astana - Atbasar” departs from Astana to Atbasar at 8:38 am. There will be 274 seats for passengers. In the opposite direction, the train will depart on the same day from Atbasar at 14:40.
- electric train No. 6805/6806 “Astana - Borovoye - Kokshetau” (376 seats) will depart from Astana to Kokshetau at 17:00. In the opposite direction, the train will depart from Kokshetau at 22.35.
- electric train No. 7509 “Pavlodar - Astana” will depart from Pavlodar to Astana at 11:57 am. (376 seats). The electric train will arrive in Astana at 14:49.
- the movement of the electric train No. 7553/7556 “Karagandy - Astana” (name No. 6811/6812 “Astana - Resort-Borovoye”) will be extended to the Kurort-Borovoye station. It will depart from Astana at 10:10 am. 276 seats will be provided for passengers. In the opposite direction, the train will depart from Borovoe at 14:48.

Ticket sales for additional commuter trains will open on January 1 of this year at 21:00.

In general, for the New Year holidays - from December 26, 2023 to January 5, 2024 - due to the appointment of additional trains and trailer cars by the National Carrier, 20 thousand additional seats were organized. In total, over the last 2 days of the day, more than 4 thousand passengers were additionally transported.

Considering the possible sharp increase in passenger traffic at stations and trains, Passenger Transportation JSC recommends that citizens plan their trips taking into account weather conditions and asks them to be understanding of the measures taken to ensure the safety of passengers.
