Passenger traffic to Borovoe Resort increased by 30%

With the start of the summer season, traveling by train to Borovoe Resort has become even more popular among tourists and local residents. In June, 49 thousand people were transported to the picturesque corner of Kazakhstan by the National Carrier electric trains. This figure is 30% higher than last year, when about 34 thousand passengers used the railway services.

For the convenience of passengers, this year the National Carrier reduced the travel time of the high-speed electric train on the route "Karaganda-Astana-Borovoe Resort" on section No. 6811/6812 "Astana-Borovoe Resort" to 2.5 hours. The electric train runs five times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition, the route of high-speed electric train No. 7509/7510 "Pavlodar-Astana" to Kokshetau with a stop at the Kurort-Borovoe station (train number No. 6805/6806) has been extended for the summer period. The train runs twice a week: on Fridays and Sundays.

These measures have contributed to an increase in passenger traffic to Kurort Borovoe. This year, it is planned to transport 125 thousand passengers in the Kurort-Borovoe direction by train.

Electric train No. 6829/6830 "Astana-Kokshetau" also runs daily in the direction of Borovoe. In addition, electric trains No. 7553/7556, No. 6811/6812 "Karaganda-Astana-Kurort-Borovoe", No. 7507/7508 "Astana-Kokshetau" - from the Nurly Zhol station run from Astana-1 station.

Ticket prices vary from 2,271 tenge to 2,943 tenge. Tickets can be purchased from 10 to 1 day in advance on the website bilet.railways.kz and at the ticket offices of JSC "Passenger Transportation" at railway stations.
