Over 27 kg of batteries were handed over for recycling by employees of Kaztemirtrans JSC

In 2023, employees of Kaztemirtrans JSC collected over 27 kilograms of batteries, which were transferred to specialized organizations for recycling.

JSC “Kaztemirtrans” has been taking part in the environmental project “Hand over the battery - save the hedgehog” for several years. Batteries that have reached the end of their service life are collected in special boxes installed in the company’s office and branches of the Company.

“It is important to learn how to properly handle any type of waste that we encounter on a daily basis. Therefore, we are trying to preserve the environment with our own efforts, because the most important thing is to start with yourself, and then other people will follow your example,” said Nurlan Zhezbaev, chief manager of the group for labor protection and industrial safety.

In 2022, as part of the eco-action, Kaztemirtrans JSC donated over 30 kg of batteries for recycling.
