Over 210 million tons of cargo were transported by rail in 10 months of 2024

According to the results of January-October 2024, loading on the network of NC KTZ JSC amounted to 213.5 million tons of cargo, which is the same as last year. About 140 million tons were transported domestically by rail, which is 1.2% higher than last year. 73.7 million tons were exported. Over 83.1 million tons of coal were loaded, including 58.9 million tons within the republic. Export shipments of solid fuel reached 24.2 million tons. 

7.9 million tons of grain were transported, of which 6 million tons were exported. Domestic grain transportation increased by 11.7% to 1.9 million tons. Milled products were transported in the amount of 2.3 million tons, including 1.7 million tons for export.

Over 10 months, the loading of oil cargo increased by 2.3%, to 16 million tons, ferrous metals by 3%, to 3.7 million tons, iron ore and manganese by 1.4%, to 17.6 million tons, non-ferrous ore by 9.8%, to 20.6 million tons.

Total loading in October amounted to 23.6 million tons, which is 2.3% higher than the same period last year. Grain transportation increased by 29.2%, to 1.2 million tons, coal by 1.1%, to 9.8 million tons, compared to last year.
