Over 18 million tons of cargo transported via the KTZ network between Kazakhstan and China

The volume of rail transportation between Kazakhstan and China for 7 months of 2024 amounted to over 18.3 million tons. This figure increased by 12.6% compared to the same period last year.

Exports to China increased by 1.2 million tons or 18.1% (over 8 million tons). Transit increased by 11.2% and amounted to 8.5 million tons.

Container transportation between Kazakhstan and China increased by 10.5% and amounted to over 980 thousand TEU. Including exports by 12.6%, to 362 thousand TEU. Over 1.1 million TEU were transported in international traffic in this direction.
