Over 13 thousand traveling tools were manufactured at the design and experimental center of Pavlodar

The Pavlodar design and experimental center of the Trunk Network Directorate of NC KTZ JSC manufactured 13358 track tools in 2023.

- Our specialists produce the tools necessary for the work of track fitters. These are crowbars, hammers, various types of keys, staples. Our employees also carry out repairs of small mechanization equipment, jacks, straighteners, and portal cranes,” says Murat Makimov, head of the design and experimental center.

In the future, it is planned to purchase additional machine equipment in order to increase the list and improve the quality of manufactured tools and repaired mechanization equipment.

According to the chief manager of the KTZ Department of Tracks and Facilities, Kanat Bazilov, the design and experimental center is increasing its potential every year.

- The manufactured products are safe and of high quality; there is no doubt about the work of specialists. This enterprise has all the prerequisites for fruitful development: highly qualified specialists, material resources, and most importantly, a competent management and professional approach,” noted Kanat Basilov.

He added that DEC specialists are also ready to produce products for energy, signaling and communications services.

In 2024, it is planned to produce more than 15 thousand traveling tools and repair over 400 units of small mechanization.
