Over 100 passengers-offenders have been disembarked from National Carrier trains since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of the year, employees of "Passenger Transportation" JSC together with the transport police have disembarked 117 passengers for disturbing public order on trains. This figure is 22% lower than for the same period last year.
According to the Rules for the carriage of passengers, baggage, over-luggage and mail by rail, a passenger can be disembarked from a train in the following cases:
1. If the passenger is in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication and by his behavior creates a threat to safety or inconvenience for other passengers.
2. If the passenger smokes in unauthorized places, including in train cars.
3. If the passenger refuses to present identity documents and does not have a purchased train ticket.
4. If the passenger shows aggression towards other passengers or train personnel.
5. If a passenger is carrying prohibited items or cargo that may pose a danger to others.
Passenger Transportation JSC is actively implementing modern technologies to improve safety in rail transport. Over 3,000 video cameras have been installed in 478 carriages of the National Carrier. The video surveillance system operates in restaurant carriages, bar carriages, railway stations and terminals. By the end of the first quarter of 2025, cameras will be installed in another 1,552 carriages for passenger safety.
