The New Year's electric train set off on its first flight from the capital to Resort - Borovoye

The unusual composition will create a festive mood for adults and children. The train is decorated with images of Christmas tree decorations, garlands and snowflakes.
The festively decorated train will run until the end of the New Year holidays.

 

Traditionally, on the eve of the New Year, Passenger Transportation JSC decorates passenger trains in a New Year’s theme. Today, the decorated New Year's electric train No. 7507/7508 departed from Astana to Resort Borovoye on its first trip.

 

 

Also this year, the inside of the train cars was decorated for the holiday:

- No. 4/3 “Astana - Nurly Zhol - Almaty”

- No. 77/78 “Almaty - Mangistau”

- No. 45/46 “Pavlodar - Turkestan”

- No. 38/37 “Mangistau - Semey”.

The main fairy-tale characters of the New Year - Father Frost and Snow Maiden - will congratulate the passengers of these trains on the upcoming holiday and present gifts. Their role will be played by carriage conductors. Also, little passengers can write their cherished wishes and send their letters to Santa Claus through the mailbox installed in the carriages.
