05-06-20242
The Zhetygen Transport and Logistics Center (TLC) received the first imported container trains as part of a new end-to-end multimodal service created jointly by CRCT, KTZE and Eastcomtrans. This service ensures the delivery of container cargo from the central part of China to Kazakhstan through the Zhetygen TLC.
The solemn ceremony on the occasion of the arrival of the trains was attended by Adilzhan Pazylbekov, Director of the Operations Department of KTZ Express JSC, Almas Abaideldinov, General Director of Eastcomtrans LLP, and Hao Gochi, General Director of
International Logistics CRCT Kazakhstan. Representatives of Eastcomtrans LLP announced development plans that provide for an increase in the volume of transportation within this service to 20 container trains per month.
It is noted that the modern railway infrastructure and the automated TOS control system of the Zhetygen TLC make it possible to process containers in record time, which provides accurate forecasts of the timing of cargo delivery to the final destination.
Also at the Zhetygen TLC, the operation of a new terminal for transshipment of bulk cargo, launched in May 2024, was demonstrated. The terminal has no analogues in Central Asia.
