More than 43 thousand additional seats on trains will be offered to passengers during the December holidays

To ensure the transportation of passengers by rail on the eve of Kazakhstan's Independence Day and the New Year, the National Carrier is launching additional trains. These trains will allow transporting more than 43 thousand passengers. Additional trains are organized in the following directions:

Train No. 201/202 "Astana-Almaty":
— from Astana on December 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 of the current year, as well as on January 1 and 4, 2025.
— from Almaty on December 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29 of the current year, as well as on January 2 and 5, 2025.

Train No. 203/204 "Astana-Shymkent":
— from Astana on December 13, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 2024, as well as January 1 and 4, 2025.
— from Shymkent on December 14, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 2024, and January 2 and 5, 2025.

Train No. 205/206 "Aktobe-Astana":
— from Aktobe on December 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 of the current year, as well as January 1 and 4, 2025.
— departures from Astana will take place on December 14, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 of the current year and January 3, 6, 2025.

In addition, 688 additional carriages will be added on holidays on popular routes, which will provide more than 28 thousand seats. The trains will include standard compartment and reserved seat carriages.

Additional carriages by region:

Northern region: 279 carriages – 12,188 additional seats.
Western region: 298 carriages – 12,824 additional seats.
Southern region: 96 carriages – 4,256 additional seats.

From December 13, 2024, 3 additional commuter trains with 6 carriages will be launched, providing 1,123 additional seats:

No. 7515/7516 "Astana - Kurort Burabay" will run daily (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
No. 7553/6811–6812/7556 "Karaganda-Astana-Kurort Borovoye" will run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
No. 7509/6805–6806/7510 "Pavlodar-Astana-Kurort Borovoye" will run twice a week: on Fridays and Sundays.

The additional trains will significantly increase the number of available seats and ensure comfortable travel for all passengers.

Tickets are available on the website bilet.railways.kz and at the ticket offices of the stations.
