More than 2.5 thousand railway workers were awarded on the eve of their professional holiday

On the first Sunday of August, more than 100 thousand railway workers of Kazakhstan will celebrate their professional holiday. On the eve of Transport Workers' Day, more than 2.5 thousand worthy representatives of the industry were awarded.

On the holiday, the management of KTZ thanked the railway workers for their professionalism, responsible attitude to their work and presented the best of them with industry awards.

More than 100 railway workers were awarded the highest award of the industry - the "Honorary Railway Worker" badge. The "Adal enbegi ushin" badge was awarded to 200 employees. More than 280 railway workers were awarded the industry titles "Kasibi boyynsha uzdik" and "Uzdik maman". Also, the employees of the steel mainline were awarded with Letters of Gratitude and Certificates of Honor from the Minister of Transport, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, and the management of KTZ.

Another 6 thousand railway workers will receive jubilee medals in honor of the 120th anniversary of the formation of the railway of Kazakhstan by the end of 2024. In total, 10 thousand employees of the steel mainline will be awarded in 2024.

This year, the management of KTZ has established new industry awards. They will be presented for significant contributions to the development and ensuring the sustainable operation of the industry, for dedication and long-term work. Based on the results of 2024 and 2025, about 90 thousand railway workers will be encouraged.

On holidays, celebratory events are held in all regions of the country. They are organized by the company's employees.
