07-03-2024

Today, Passenger Transportation JSC employs over 3.5 thousand beautiful ladies, including 1000 train conductors and 400 ticket office employees. In anticipation of International Women's Day, it is important to note that their work is directly related to the operation and provision of services on trains, which is key to the functioning of passenger trains.

The conductors travel 170 to 180 hours a month, away from their families. Every day, the role of each conductor becomes key in keeping trains on the line and in ensuring the operation of the rolling stock, providing a high level of service and services for passengers. Their work sometimes goes beyond their basic functions, where they act as psychologists, nannies and nurses at the same time. In different life situations, conductors even have to become midwives and bear responsibility not only for the lives of passengers, but also for newborn children.

For example, over the past three years, 12 babies have been born on National Transporter passenger trains. It is noteworthy that in each of these cases, the attendants who delivered the babies are themselves mothers of many children.

National carrier ticket office employees play an important role in the railway sector. They not only sell tickets, but also provide passengers with necessary information about train schedules and the ticket purchasing process. There are 165 cash desks operating 24/7 throughout the country. And the work of the cash registers is continuous thanks to the hard work of the fair half of humanity, who work in two shifts.

Conductors sacrifice the best moments of life that could be spent with their families by spending most of their time on the road. The strength, work and dedication of railway women to their work not only complement, but are also the core of the successful activities of the National Carrier.
