More than 144 million tons of cargo were transported by rail in 7 months of this year

For January - July 2024, the total loading on the network of "NC" KTZ " JSC amounted to more than 144 million tons. Cargo transportation within the country by rail increased by 2%, to 95.6 million tons. About 49 million tons were exported. 

More than 55 million tons of coal and over 5 million tons of grain were loaded.

Over the seven months, transportation of oil cargo increased by 2.5%, to 10.9 million tons, ferrous metals by 7.5% to 2.6 million tons, iron and manganese ore by 7.4%, to 12.4 million tons, non-ferrous ore and sulfur raw materials by 12%, to 14.3 million tons.
