KTZ transported by train more than 317 thousand passengers during the May holidays

Rail transport remains the most popular and accessible for passengers. From May 1 to May 9 this year the trains of KTZ's subsidiary, Passenger Transportation JSC, transported more than 317 thousand passengers.

The most popular days for travel were May 7–9.  112 thousand passengers set off on their journey these days. Particularly popular among passengers were trains running on the routes Astana-Almaty, Astana-Shymkent, Almaty-Shymkent, Astana-Semey.

The train has a number of advantages over other modes of transport. The railway operates in all weather conditions. Over 13.5 million passengers use KTZ services annually.
