KTZ: systematic work is underway to improve the welfare of employees and improve working conditions

A round table of JSC NC "KTZ" was held in Aktau with the participation of representatives of the company's corporate center and employees of the Mangistau region.

During the meeting, representatives of the company's corporate center shared current plans and talked about systematic measures that are being taken to improve the welfare of employees.

It was noted that from January 1, 2025, in accordance with the financial and economic capabilities of the company, a 7% increase in wages was made for all employees of linear enterprises.

Also, as part of the measures to increase wages, work is being carried out to develop a bonus system for production personnel: from January 1, 2025, for all employees whose monthly bonus according to the LPC (labor participation coefficient) was 10% or quarterly 30%, the bonus amount was increased to 15% monthly or up to 45% quarterly. Overall, over the past three years, the company has done a lot of work to improve the socio-economic status of employees.

The Collective Agreement for 2024-2026 provides for a significant increase in the amount of social benefits by an average of 20-50% compared to 2023.

The practice of paying one-time bonuses on the eve of holidays is implemented annually (1 1 minimum salary for four holidays). 

In the area of moral incentives, new initiatives were introduced, including 23 new types of departmental awards, and 10 existing ones were updated. Depending on the type of award, monthly allowances from 5 to 10% of the official salary and one-time cash payments in the amount of 30 to 60 MCI are established. For example, for the presentation of a badge for dedication and

long-term work in the railway industry, the recipients will be paid an annual one-time bonus depending on their length of service in the railway industry:

- “Temirzhol salasynda 10 zhyl mіnsіz kyzmetі ushin” in the amount of 100,000 tenge;
- “Temirzhol salasynda 20 zhyl mіnsіz kyzmetі ushin” - 200,000 tenge;
- “Temirzhol salasynda 30 zhyl mіnsіz kyzmetі ushin” - 300,000 tenge.

During the open dialogue, employees shared their proposals and identified key points that require attention, such as increasing wages, improving social and living conditions, improving social policy, and other issues.

Following the meeting, it was proposed to continue the discussion for a more detailed consideration of all the proposals voiced, taking into account the financial and economic capabilities of the company.
