KTZ strengthens cooperation with transport and logistics companies of Pakistan

Damir Kozhakhmetov, CEO of KTZ Express JSC (a subsidiary of NC KTZ JSC), visited the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where he held a number of meetings with the management of the country's largest transport and logistics companies, as well as with representatives of the Ministry of Commerce.
The key focus of the negotiations was the development of the Trans-Afghan Corridor, which opens up new opportunities for the export of goods to the markets of South Asia and the Middle East.
In particular, the possibilities of cooperation in optimizing cargo transportation and developing logistics solutions using terminal and port infrastructure were discussed with the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and Tranzum Courier Service (TCS). Measures to simplify logistics processes and remove barriers to improve the efficiency and attractiveness of routes through Pakistan were discussed with the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan.
Special attention was paid to the transport infrastructure in the port area - the terminal capacities of the port of Karachi were studied, and negotiations were held with the owners of the port terminals on issues of expanding the presence of KTZ Express in the region within the framework of the concept of creating a terminal framework on the North-South route.
