Chairman of the Management Board of NC KTZ JSC Nurlan Sauranbayev announced this at a Government meeting with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.

Freight turnover for 10 months of this year increased by 7.2% and amounted to 224.2 billion ton-kilometers. The main growth was achieved through export and transit transportation. For example, compared to last year, grain exports increased by 32%. Transportation of iron ore and chemicals has increased by the same amount.

By the end of the year, KTZ plans to reach a record high and increase cargo turnover to 274 billion ton-kilometers.

N. Sauranbaev also emphasized that starting from 2020, the company has consistently had a positive financial result. For 10 months of 2023, a net profit of 139 billion tenge was received.

KTZ’s revenue for 2023 will be about 2 trillion tenge.
