The KTZ operational grain headquarters held a meeting with Kostanay shippers

A visiting meeting of the KTZ operational grain headquarters was held in Kostanay with the participation of more than 50 shippers of the region, representatives of the transport prosecutor's office, the state inspectorate, the agricultural department of the regional akimat and the Atameken NCE.

The meeting discussed the issue of container downtime awaiting loading due to restrictions on the acceptance of grain cargo by the Chinese side through the Altynkol station. To stabilize the situation, shippers were asked to reorient cargo transportation through the Dostyk border crossing. Shippers confirmed the reorientation of more than 30 trains.

"We thank the railway workers for their prompt response to the grain processors' appeal. Today we received comprehensive information on the current situation on the network, and transportation plans for November were discussed. In general, a number of issues have been resolved,” said Anzor Akbiyev, head of RakhmatKST LLP, following the meeting.

The implementation of the assigned tasks and planned plans for grain transportation is under constant control of KTZ.
