KTZ management inspected the facilities of the Akmola branch of the railway

As part of a working trip to the Akmola branch of the railway, the KTZ management inspected key facilities of the main line, checked the preparation of facilities for winter, and the working conditions of employees.

The condition of the railway track was checked using a mobile diagnostic complex, which allows for the timely detection of infrastructure defects. The importance of diagnostics in ensuring the safety of train traffic was noted.

During a tour of the region's infrastructure facilities, the KTZ management visited the Kurort-Borovskoye Rail Welding Enterprise (RWE). Its main activity is the repair and welding of rails. The enterprise provides the KTZ track facilities with new and restored rails in accordance with all the requirements of operational standards, used in the repair of the railway track. RWE employs about 400 people.

The station facilities were inspected, including the Kurort-Borovoye station.

The main attention was paid to the working conditions of employees. The company's management talked to the workers on the line and inspected the modular building for the rest of the track workers at Zhamantuz station. The building with an area of 106 sq.m. with a staff room is designed for 10 people. All utilities are connected to the buildings, there are showers, household appliances, furniture, and dishes. This year, 202 modular buildings are planned to be installed at remote stations and sidings; 132 were installed last year.
 

A meeting was also held with the heads of the Akmola freight transportation department and the main network. Issues of production activities, safety, working conditions, and social responsibility were discussed. The need to increase the prestige of blue-collar jobs and train young people was emphasized.

Instructions were given to complete the tasks for the current year. The emphasis is on improving the level of traffic safety and high-quality training of farms and personnel for work in the winter.

The management of KTZ thanked the teams for their work and wished them success in their work. Distinguished employees were awarded.
