KTZ management held a meeting with shippers of the Pavlodar region

A meeting of KTZ management with the largest shippers of the region was held in Pavlodar. Current issues of freight transportation, preparation for the heating season and conditions for coordinated and effective work were discussed.

Over the seven months of 2024, the Pavlodar freight transportation department loaded over 44.5 million tons of cargo, including over 9.3 million tons in the direction of the CIS countries, over 630 thousand tons - to China. The region is actively working on the transportation of coal, iron ore, alumina by express trains - entire trains from one sender to one recipient. Ferroalloys are delivered from Aksu-1 station to Dostyk by express trains. This approach reduced the travel time of trains and ensured the safety of the cargo. Routing is being implemented in the transportation of bulk oil cargo from the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant through the capital to the east and south. The Pavlodar Aluminum Plant sends 70% of its products for export via cargo routes.

Coal transportation for the heating season is on schedule in the region. Pavlodar railway workers monitor the remaining solid fuel in the warehouses of thermal power plants and state district power plants every day. Solid fuel reserves at the end of August 2024 significantly exceed the established standards and amount to over 1.6 million tons, which is 11% higher than the same period last year.

For the population of Pavlodar and Akmola regions, 12 thousand tons of solid fuel were transported, which is 20% higher than the same period last year. The average daily coal loading of Bogatyr Komir LLC reaches 30-32 route trains.

The meeting noted the need for a constructive dialogue with the company's shippers to further strengthen cooperation. Following the meeting, a number of shippers were awarded a jubilee medal in honor of the 120th anniversary of the railway.
