KTZ locomotives are preparing for summer transportation

The spring commission inspection of locomotives has started in all operational locomotive depots of KTZ. It is necessary to transfer the locomotive fleet to summer transportation.

During the inspection, the technical and fire safety condition of the locomotives will be checked. They will carry out a complete audit of all components and assemblies. Ventilation and climate control units will be switched to summer mode and filters will be changed. They will evaluate the operation of braking equipment, automatic coupling devices, speed meters, and more.

The inspection will end on May 31.
