KTZ to hold a fire-fighting exercise in the administrative building

On February 7, 2025, a large-scale fire-fighting exercise will be held in the administrative building of KTZ, aimed at practicing the actions of personnel and emergency services in the event of an emergency. The exercise will be held with the participation of special equipment and personnel of the Astana Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A comprehensive fire-fighting exercise is held once every three years.

As part of the event, an emergency situation will be simulated, and the building's employees will be evacuated. The main goal of the exercise is to test the readiness of all participants to promptly respond to possible security threats, as well as to improve the coordination of actions between emergency services and KTZ personnel in the event of a real threat.

During the exercises, special attention will be paid to checking the operation of all security systems, including warning, detection and signaling systems, automatic fire extinguishing, smoke removal and evacuation.

The administrative building of KTZ was built in 2009 and is one of the largest in the capital. Its height is 175.3 meters, and the area is more than 102 thousand square meters. The building includes two blocks: Block A with 40 floors and Block B with 37 floors. About 3,600 employees work there.
