KTZ held a working meeting with the management of Wabtec

KTZ discussed issues of further development of cooperation with the CEO of the American company Wabtec (Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation) Rafael Santana and the regional vice president of Wabtec Gökhan Bayhan. 

During the meeting, the work carried out by KTZ on the development of the railway industry was noted, including the renewal of the rolling stock fleet, which is necessary to support the growing demand for freight transportation in the region. Separately, the parties discussed Wabtec's plans to produce new-generation "green" locomotives in Kazakhstan.

The speakers emphasized the importance of this project for the development of Kazakhstan's railway infrastructure.
