To increase passenger comfort and improve service, Passenger Transportation JSC is carrying out targeted and step-by-step work to update the passenger car fleet.

Over the past 10 years, the passenger fleet has been updated by 50% with carriages that meet modern international requirements for safety, comfort and environmental friendliness. 1236 cars were purchased.

Today, the National Carrier's fleet includes over 2,100 passenger cars, including 108 electric train cars.

By 2030, the fleet will be replenished with 537 new generation passenger carriages produced by Stadler. The new cars are equipped with air conditioning systems and modern filters for air disinfection and purification. They are equipped with a video surveillance system, fire extinguishing system, their own fire hose and water supply. Each compartment and hallways have 220-volt electrical outlets and USB ports for charging mobile phones.
